Body & Nut: Malleable or SG Iron.
Thrust Washer: Steel.
End load Washer: Spring Steel.
Gasket: NBR Rubber.
Corrosion protection: Light oil film – must be site protected.
The Flexgrip joint can be made using conventional tools after the fitting has been fitted on to the pipe, it does not require disassembly to be installed. Fittings must have an approved site corrosion protection system applied after installation and pressure testing.
Meets GIS/PL3:2014 requirements, BSI Kite Mark accredited KM595392.
Maximum Operating Pressure (MOP) = 5.5 Bar.
Available in Nominal Diameter sizes from ¾” (DN20) to 2” (DN50) to suit pipe made to specification BS EN 10255 (formerly BS 1387).
