Flexgrip™ Adaptor
CG Series
Body & Nut: Malleable or SG Iron.
Thrust Washer: Steel or Engineering Plastic.
Insert Stiffener: Steel.
Gasket: NBR Rubber.
Corrosion protection: Light oil film – must be site protected.
The Flexgrip joint can be made using conventional tools after the fitting has been installed on to the threaded joint. The PE end should be disassembled and the parts placed on to the PE pipe, the Insert Stiffener can then be installed and then re-assembled in to the Body. Once tightened the fitting must have an approved site corrosion protection system applied after installation and pressure testing.
Meets GIS/PL3:2014 requirements, BSI Kite Mark accredited KM587336.
Maximum Operating Pressure (MOP) = 5.5 Bar.
Available for PE sizes from 25mm to 63mm with threads ¾” BSPT to 2” BSPT.
